| Description: | To work all or various jobs in warehouse related to the processing of donated goods.

| Duties: | 1. The ability to do at least one of the following tasks as assigned:
-Presort, grade, hang or pack clothes in proper containers
-Presort, grade and pack E & M donations in proper containers
-Presort, grade and pack shoes and accessories in proper containers
-Presort, grade and pack household items (curtains, sheets, blankets, etc.) in proper containers
-Presort, grade and pack wares, toys, and glassware in proper containers
-Sort white cotton/mix cotton
-Pack seasonal items in containers and label
-Participate in the filling of store shipment requirements and complete related paperwork
2. Remove trash from warehouse and transport to disposal containers as necessary
3. Sweep and pick up all objects off the floors. Keep all workstations and warehouse areas clean and neat.
4. Move materials from workstation to workstation as needed.
5. Adhere to all safety procedures and wear all safety equipment that is required for the specific task. |
| Qualifications: | -Possess good eyesight and color definition
-Good interpersonal communication skills
-Ability to quickly assess goods and determine appropriate routing
-Functional reading and writing skills
Physical Requirements:
-Ability to stoop, reach, crawl and climb
-Ability to lift 50 pounds
-Ability to stand for long periods
-Ability to endure heat, cold and dust
-Ability to push/pull 100 pounds
-Ability to use hand truck |
