| Description: | To assist and support the store manager in all phases of the assigned store's operations and to assume responsibility for all aspects of store operations in the absence of the manager. |
| Duties: | -Provide feedback to manager regarding merchandise needs and customer comments.
-Fills in for absent employee(s) as necessary to provide adequate coverage.
-Maximizes merchandising and appearance potential throughout the store.
-Assists manager in achieving store operations and cost containment objectives.
-Performs manager duties in the absence of or at the direction of the Store Manager or Director of Retail sales including opening or closing store and all phases of asses protection and employee supervision
-Ensures completion of rotation process on a weekly basis in all departments.
-Solves customer problems in a timely manner.
-Maintains standard of cleanliness and decor in all customer traffic areas.
-Ensures every customer is greeted upon entering the store.
-At the direction of the manager prepares staff schedules for adequate, secure coverage and within budget.
-Follows all policies and procedures to protect the stores assets.
-Maintains safe working and shopping conditions in the store and surrounding areas.
-Displays merchandise in a manner to achieve maximum sales.
-Sets wares and furniture prices competitively for store/market areas.
-Completes store reports at the manager's directions and according to established procedures.
-May assist in interviewing and hiring store personnel; completing required paperwork.

| Qualifications: | -Experience and education equivalent to the completion of high schoo.
-Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing.
-One year or more in a sales or public contact position.
-Some successful experience in dealing with numbers and detail work including handling cash.
-Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a variety of people.
-Demonstrated ability to meet schedules; complete work assignments successfully.
Physical Requirements
-Will spend prolonged periods of time either sitting, standing or moving merchandise.
-Ability to lift, carry, bend stoop and stretch.
-Some work on dock area or around store.
-Ability to travel to all store locations.
-Ability to lift 30 pounds on a routine basis.
-Other duties as assigned by supervisor necessary for the profitable operation of the store. |
